Close to Saffron Walden, AaM have been tasked with the renovation and extension of a large house on the edge of a village in the ancient district of Uttlesford. The aim of the project is to pull the grand home into the 21st century, rationalising draughty corridors and turning formal rooms into contemporary spaces more suited to modern family life. A new kitchen, boot room and playroom extension will replace an old billiard room of poor construction.
